Kumaraswamy has launched a new incentive scheme commonly called the E-Truck Incentive Scheme to support the deployment of around 5600 e-trucks, promoting indigenous manufacturing and reducing logistics costs and carbon footprint. Under this scheme, reserve incentives are available for approximately 1100 e-trucks registered in Delhi, with an outlay of Rs. 100 crore.

The “E-Truck Incentive Scheme” is the first-ever incentive scheme launched under the PM E-DRIVE Scheme to help the country’s transition to clean and sustainable freight mobility. Under this scheme, reserve incentives are available for approximately 1100 e-trucks registered in Delhi, with an outlay of Rs.. 100 crore.
