Tamil Nadu authority of Tamil Nadu Youth Welfare and Sports Development Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin recently launched an amazing scheme for the groundroots sports youth of the Tamil Nadu rural area by providing them with a free sports kit. Through this amazing initiative, the government wants to empower the youth to the sports category and also make their career in sports. Udhayanidhi Stalin has announced to provide a 12000 sports kit to the ruler areas villagers across the state of Tamil Nadu. Kalaignar Sports Kit scheme is named after the former Chief Minister Late M. Karunanidhi.

Eligibility Criteria
- The beneficiary applicant must be a district-level, state-level, or national-level player.
- The applicant should be a permanent resident of Tamil Nadu.
- The applicant should be live in rural area.

How to Apply Kalaignar Sports Kit Scheme.
Step 1: Those applicants who want to apply under the Kalaignar Sports Kit Scheme must visit the Gram panchayat office or the Department of Youth and Welfare district office.
Step 2: Now in the office interact with the official employee and ask them to provide you with an application form for the free kit scheme.
Step 3: Now fill out the application form correctly and provide all the required details and required documents that are mentioned under the application form.
Step 4: After filling out the application form recheck the form and submitted to the office.
Process Of Distributing Sports Kit
- The government will release the selected students name in the list.
- The government will notify the beneficiary student through SMS on their mobile number which is mention on the application form.
- The gram panchayat will distribute the sport kit to the sports person.
- Beneficiary sports youth can enquiry by visiting district sports and youth Welfare Office.
